We conduct in-depth testing, including personality assessment, symptom severity analysis, adaptive functioning assessment, and continuous treatment progress assessments throughout your journey. Your unique symptoms and profile guide the creation of your individualized treatment plan.
Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization with Us Includes
Holistic Approach: We address primary OCD and anxiety-related symptoms alongside related disorders like body dysmorphia, trichotillomania, agoraphobia, panic disorder, social anxiety, and more. We also tackle co-occurring issues such as trauma, depression, and disordered eating.
Tailored Treatment Plans: Every client receives a personalized treatment plan, featuring:
- 6 hours of daily treatment: Sessions run from 9am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm, Monday – Friday
Of these 6 treatment hours:
- 4 hours of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy: The gold standard of OCD care, integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
- Daily Group Therapy: Includes Acceptance and Commitment Training and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training.
- Psychiatric Support: In-depth assessments, ongoing psychiatric care, and medication management.
- Family Involvement: Addressing how symptoms impact the family, strengthening family connections, and offering guidance for continued support post-treatment.
- Experiential Activities: Art, music, outdoor activities, and meditation for holistic healing.
- Life Skill Development: Guided practice for daily living skills development.

Financing Your Treatment
We offer various financing options and sliding-scale payment plans. We accept out-of-network insurance benefits and can assist you in understanding your coverage. Our day treatment program is priced at $20,000 per month if paid by cash.

(Dallas, Texas, Sept 2023) – Better Living Center for Behavioral Health has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Better Living Center for Behavioral Health Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a healthcare organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
Better Living Center for Behavioral Health underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review on September 14th & 15, 2023. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with behavioral health standards spanning several areas including clinical care and documentation, environment of care, infection prevention and control, leadership, medication management, and rights and responsibilities of the individual).
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help healthcare organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
