Welcome to Better Living Center for Behavioral Health, where we believe in comprehensive healing for young individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related anxieties. Our specialized OCD and anxiety-related programming goes beyond mere symptom relief, focusing on your overall well-being.

What sets our program apart?

At Better Living Center for Behavioral Health, your healing journey is not just a process—it’s a personalized, data-guided experience. Unlike most programs, we believe in the power of data to tailor your treatment uniquely to your needs.

Data-Driven Customization

We conduct in-depth testing, including personality assessment, symptom severity analysis, adaptive functioning assessment, and continuous treatment progress assessments throughout your journey. Your unique symptoms and profile guide the creation of your individualized treatment plan.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) for OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders Includes:

Holistic Approach: We address primary OCD and anxiety-related symptoms alongside related disorders like body dysmorphia, trichotillomania, agoraphobia, panic disorder, social anxiety, and more. We also tackle co-occurring issues such as trauma, depression, and disordered eating.

Tailored Treatment Plans: Every client receives a personalized treatment plan, featuring one of the following treatment schedules:

  • 3 hours treatment: Sessions run Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in one of 3 time slots: 9 am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm, or 5pm – 8pm
  • 3 hours of treatment Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in one of 3 time slots: 9am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm, or 5pm – 8pm

Of these 3 treatment hours:

  • 2+ hours of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy: The gold standard of OCD care, integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
  • Group Therapy:  Includes Acceptance and Commitment Training, psychoeducation, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training.
  • Psychiatric Support: In-depth assessments, ongoing psychiatric care, and medication management.
  • Family Involvement: Addressing how symptoms impact the family, strengthening family connections, and offering guidance for continued support post-treatment.
  • Life Skill Development: Guided practice for daily living skills development.
