Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and anxiety-based disorders more generally, can lead to high levels of impairment and lower quality of life. Some forms of anxiety and more severe presentations make treatment gains at outpatient levels difficult. At Better Living Behavioral Health, we offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) level of treatment for OCD and other anxiety-related disorders. Better Living’s IOP programs help reduce anxiety symptoms while increasing quality of life.
Better Living IOP programs are cognitive-behavioral and rely heavily on exposure and response prevention (ERP). Clients receive 15 hours of cognitive behavioral treatment, including approximately 12 hours-worth of exposure and response prevention (ERP) on a weekly basis. At Better Living our goal is to increase quality of life while reducing anxiety symptoms.
Treatment in Better Living’s IOP programs include:
- Individual therapy
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Family education sessions
- Group therapy
We offer morning and afternoon Adult and Adolescent programs that run Monday – Friday. Morning IOP runs 9am-12pm. Afternoon IOP runs 1pm-4pm. Adults and adolescents are in different group therapy sessions and assisted/monitored while completing exposure work.
