OCD Kansas has continued to grow under its new local leadership. In 2013, Dr. Cathey became an Advanced Assistantship Trainee at the Kansas City Center for Anxiety Treatment. There she received her first practical training in higher levels of treatment for anxiety disorders and use of cognitive-behavioral exposure apart from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (“ACT”) influenced exposure practices.

Dr. Cathey formerly served as the Lead Clinician for one of Roger’s Memorial Hospital’s OCD Intensive Outpatient units in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin under the supervision of Brad Reimann, PhD.
